Jeremy Don Fogel is a Senior District Judge of the Northern District of California and the director of the Federal Judicial Center. In this interview, Judge Fogel discusses his law school years, his experiences as a state judge in the California judicial system, his years as a federal judge for the Northern District of California, and his tenure as the director of the Federal Judicial Center (FJC). He also describes how he came to know Judge Heyburn in his capacity with the FJC and shares his thoughts on Judge Heyburn’s character.
