Jeffrey Apperson, former Clerk of the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

In this interview, Apperson discusses his nearly thirty years with the Western District Court, first as Clerk for the Bankruptcy Court (1983-1991) and then for the District as a whole (1991-2010). He shares memories about the bankruptcy judges and federal judges with whom he worked, changes in the Western District during his tenure, the role of technology in the Court’s functions, and various organizations within the Judicial Branch in which he and the Western District judges participated.
